"Restoring Eminem" earns the top spot in the rankings of R&B/hip-hop (Reuters)

LOS ANGELES (Billboard) – during the last 12 months, both the R&B and hip-hop charts were disseminated with indenting, upstarts buzz-drawing and hitmaking years assists.

The set is spun off the individual hit "Little Freak," with the omnipresent Nicki Minaj; the pop/dance-centric "OMG," with will.i.am; "Hey Dad (casa del Papa)," featuring Plies; and "There Goes My Baby," which ranks No. 2 for the year-end Hot R&B/hip-hop songs recap and no. 1 for age of R&B tally. Usher "And" EP came in no. 45 on recapitalisation of Top Albums R&B/hip-hop.

Brown, following his conviction for domestic abuse, labored resurrecting his career. The tide has moved to Brown in June, when he performed a medley of songs by Michael Jackson at the BET Awards and broke down during the "Man in the Mirror".

Weeks later, Brown single "Deuces," featuring Tyga and Kevin McCall, he drove at no. 1 on the graph Hot R&B/hip-hop songs. Registered after the release of its 2009 "graffiti", the song undoubtedly stimulated renewed interest in that particular project: the Grammy-nominated "graffiti" supports a respectable No 28 Albums at year-end Top R&B/hip-hop recap.

Among the young companies this year's Young Money/Cash Money hot shot Drake. Generating buzz most by far of any artist in 2009, Drake wrapped up at the top of the Hot Rap of both new Top R&B/hip-hop artists--all off the phenomenal success of hit single of his mixtape last year, "Best I Ever Had."

This year, Drake more than satisfied the anticipation sparked by his first Studio album, "Thank Me Later" (Young Money/Cash Money/Universal Motown). Closing the year at no. 5 for the recapitalisation of albums Top R&B/hip-hop, the CD spun off three keys singles: "Over," "Find Your Love" and "Miss."

Drake has remained just as busy as guest artist, leading hit including Trey Songz ' "I Invented Sex," Timbaland "Say Something" and "Money of Birdman of coup". Between year-end honors additional singer/rapper: No 1 for the recapitalisation Mainstream R&B/hip-hop artists.

Speaking of Songz, the young R&B singer came into its own, as well as in 2010. Plays his territory in the Kingdom sexually provocative once ruled by r. Kelly, Songz was a main unit on hot R&B/hip-hop Singles with "I Invented Sex," "Neighbors Know My Name," "Say Ah" featuring Fabolous and "Bottoms Up" with Nicki Minaj. Rival Drake for the Crown to assist more valuable this year is Minaj, another money debutant, whose debut album, "Black Friday," was released the week of Thanksgiving. But Minaj doesn't need an album of net fourth place Top Artists count new R&B/hip-hop. Other notable names on recaps: Sade, back on course after a break of 10 years; Rihanna, ending the year with a second album, "Loud"; Mary j. Blige; Monica; Erykah Badu; Black Eyed Peas; and Michael Jackson. When their new album sold significant quantities of Physics in this increasingly download-obsessions, Monica, together with the fantasy, shined attention on purchasing power yet formidable urban adults.

In hip-hop, it seemed that the prison was that marketing tool du jour. Lil Wayne, behind bars for most of the year, maintained a strong presence in single and album charts as he regularly blogged about his imprisonment. A break like for Gucci Mane preceded the release of "the appeal: Georgia's Most Wanted" (1017 Brick pink/asylum/Warner Bros.).

The buzz of Supervisor of T.I. released from prison after also bode well for the artist--until recently he was jailed again for violating probation on the eve of releasing his new album. Among other rapper, enjoying a strong 2010 outside: Jay-z, Ludacris, Soulja Boy and Rick Ross.

R&B adult remained a vital force this year. At the beginning of the age artists tally is R&B acts include, with the help of Kem, Maxwell completed the top 10.
