CINCINNATI – former supermodel Cindy Crawford has collaborated with a furniture store to donate $ 20,000 in children's Hospital of Cincinnati area.
The Cincinnati Enquirer reports that Crawford has turned the cancer research laboratories at the medical center of Cincinnati Children's Hospital in Corryville Saturday and met with a 6 year old patient. The donation comes from the sale of a new line of furniture of Crawford to Morris Home Furnishings in nearby Springdale. Crawford is in the area for the Grand opening of the shop.
Crawford's younger brother, Jeff, he died of acute lymphoblastic leukemia in 1975, just before his fourth birthday.
Crawford he told those gathered that now, almost 90% of children with the disease are healed. She says: "we spend all this money on research ... and add".
