Fashion risk-takers helped the red carpet at Sunday's Golden Globes live up to its reputation as the most exciting of the season awards, with Helena Bonham Carter, the market leader in matching — one red, one green — shoes.

She topped her yellow cocktail multicolored, printed with a wacky hairdo woven with black netting.

It cannot be described as a do or a don't: it's just pure Bonham Carter.

Olivia Wilde cleared its path in an oversized dress balls of chocolate-brown from Marchesa with skirt that mimicked a starry night. "I am a big load — give me 20 feet," Wilde quipped.

"I like to wear big, it's fun. We go to so many parties in this city, the Globes are something to play with, in terms of fashion, "he added.

Still, there was room at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, California, to waves of gowns in tones of green, red, blue, black and blush.

"I don't see a general trend. Not all strapless or one look — the way it was so clearly in the past. You always hope to see the individuality and you got it, "said Cindy Cleary Weber, Director of fashion and InStyle.

He also noted that there were highest covered looks, strategically cropping top Save January Jones ' and a rainbow of colors.

Angelina Jolie wore a green dress with long sleeves, slim reflexes that matched the style old school of Brad Pitt, looking for the classic movie star in the traditional bow tie.

Like Justin Beiber presenters, young, in one of three elements tux & Gabbana Dolce and Hailee Steinfeld in an ivory dress with Prabal Gurung strappy, with a rubber finish, were looking to the future, though.

"Glee" stars looked as if they were everywhere on the carpet: Lea Michele in a salmon pink Oscar de la Renta, Chris Colfer at Dior Homme, Dianna Agron in a delicate, slightly shiny j. Mendel with a heavy chain necklace by Cathy Waterman and Cory Monteith coated with Giorgio Armani and her silver bow tie.

"I was really struck by the fact that many men were in real bow ties," Cleary Weber said. "Have not been ' the thing ' for a couple of years."

Elisabeth Moss custom, Donna Karan and Mila Kunis also green justice and Amy Adams went with a dress teal, laser cut by Marchesa. Blue was electric on Michelle Pfieffer, wearing a simple, sexy Roland Mouret, and Tina Fey channeled another era in a velvet Navy L'wren Scott.

Eva Longoria was voluptuous yet sophisticated in a black Zac Posen with a jeweled belt and siren prepared train, whilst Piper Perabo was elegant and chic in black from Oscar de la Renta with bows on the shoulder and hemline. The top layer of Christina Aguilera strapless Ferragamo was edging jet-black but was barely perceptible against champagne coating. Remember, she was there representing a film called "Burlesque."

Capturing a vibe boho were Sandra Bullock in a dress pink powder, a shoulder, crystal-encrusted loose by Jenny Packham and Scarlett Johansson in a creamy, butterfly sleeve dress with v neck in front and back. It was one of the Favorites of the Weber Cleary.
