' The Social Network ' triumphs at the Golden Globes (AFP)

BEVERLY HILLS, California (AFP) – "social network" grabbed four awards, including best picture at the Golden Globes on Sunday, defeating "the King's Speech", who collected a single British drama with aims high.

In what is traditionally seen as a pointer to Oscar next month, the film on Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg has won Best Director for David Fincher, and best screenplay and best score.

While the film won four of the six categories for which it was named, "speech by the King"--which was nominated for seven awards--walked away with one only, with the best actor in a drama for Colin Firth.

The award for best actress in a drama went to Natalie Portman for his performance in the drama of dance ballet themed "Black Swan", on set that she met her husband-be Benjamin Millepied, with whom she is expecting a baby.
