Bonnaroo RIP Eminem, Arcade Fire, Springfield (AP)

NASHVILLE, Tennessee – a reunified Buffalo Springfield will play his date only this year's festival at the Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival, join Eminem, Arcade Fire, Widespread Panic, Lil Wayne, The Black Keys and Robert Plant in celebrating 10 years down on the farm.

Bonnaroo will take place from June 9-12 in Manchester, Tennessee, on the farm of 700 hectares that called at home since its debut in 2002 with four dozen jam band-pending acts.

To celebrate the anniversary, Dr. John and the original meters will make a rare appearance to recreate their joint album 1974 "Desitively Bonnaroo," the origin of the name of the festival. Bonnaroo shed outset label jam band and has become one of the most eclectic summertime gatherings of its kind, drawing tens of thousands of people every year to central rural Tennessee.

Training this year is no different, tacking wildly across genres. Eminem and Lil Wayne are two acts today top rap, Arcade Fire and The Black Keys has brought a wave of alternative rock Grammy Awards on Sunday and Sunday headlining slot of Widespread Panic is a nod that first training 10 years ago.

Throw a Loretta Lynn, The Strokes, Big Boi, Gregg Allman, Alison Krauss & Union Station, Florence + the machine, String Cheese Incident and Mavis Staples, and the festival becomes a grab bag of styles.

Original member Buffalo Springfield, Neil Young, Stephen Stills and Richie Furay played in public for the first time since 1968, last October at annual Bridge School benefit concert Young. The Rock and Roll Hall of Famers were an act of short lasted, but were among a handful of pioneers in the movements of the country-and folk-rock-rock of the 1960s.

They remain highly influential and there are several acts signed to play the festival which are definitely under the influence of Buffalo Springfield, Ray River, My Morning Jacket, Mumford & Sons, The Decemberists and Ryan Bingham, among many others.
