LOS ANGELES (Reuters)-actor Mel Gibson slipped into a police station in Los Angeles late Wednesday night to be fingerprinted and photographed after his no contest plea last week to internal battery on his ex-girlfriend.
Gibson, 55, was sentenced Friday to three years probation, punishments and other advice a year after pleading no contest, which is the legal equivalent of guilty in California, Oksana hit last year.
The two have been involved in a bitter custody battle for their daughter.
the "lethal weapon" and "braveheart" actor and Director reported to the police station in the same night his new film, "The Beaver" debuted at a film festival in Texas.
