LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) – after having evaded the seeming whackers Hollywood to Canada, Randy Quaid is to perform his new song, appropriately called "Star Whackers" in Vancouver on Friday night.
Quaid and band The Town pants are booked in the Commodore Ballroom in Vancouver for the first concert of the American actor from being granted permanent residence status in Canada by local authorities.
Quaid was allowed to remain in Canada, because his wife, Evi Quaid, received his Canadian citizenship card in February because his father was born there.
The American actor was asked by The city to accommodate pants on their concert in Vancouver during swing concert of the band's West Coast. The town pants singer Aaron Watson told the newspaper the Globe and Mail Thursday that Quaid dealt initially with the idea to sing the song "Star Whackers."
' Goes, ' well, I actually had some other things moving, thinking that maybe I'd love a song's debut. And we go, ' Oh yes, what is this? "And he goes, ' Star ' Whackers. And we're like, "Uh, sure," Chapman said.
