Jack Black helps the panda cub named Atlanta zoo (AP)

ATLANTA – Jack Black joined Zoo Atlanta for a naming ceremony for a giant panda cub of 3 months, the only endangered species born in a zoo in the U.S. last year.

The zoo on Tuesday named cub Po after the main character dubber black in his upcoming animated sequel "kung fu Panda 2."

Zoo officials say that in exchange for name, studio Dreamworks donated money to the zoo to help with its panda conservation program. The zoo has refused to say how much. Zoo pays China a lease of $ 500, 000-year to see the pandas.

Black posed for pictures with the 10-pound puppy, squawking noises and writhed in the hands of his guardian.

Black is the promotion of the film, which will be released on 27 May and also stars Angelina Jolie, Dustin Hoffman, Jean-Claude van Damme and Jackie Chan.
